- To enhance your skills through work experience and internships outwith academia use our Work Experience pages.
Events for all students including PGRs
- All Careers Service and employer events are advertised via MyCareer (login with DS username and password). You can also access details of events by checking the EVENTS calendar regularly (you can also access it via the University App).
- Careers fairs, employer presentations and events are a useful introduction to organisations and industries so make sure you know which employers will be holding presentations either on campus or in the Glasgow area.
- All our events are open to PhDs. These include: briefing sessions (each lasts 30 minutes) which cover essential information on a range of career topics (eg interviews, cover letters, assessment centres etc); workshops; employer presentations; and skills sessions delivered by employers.
- The Careers Service organises the Scottish Graduate Fair which takes place each year in October at the SEC Glasgow. It is the largest graduate recruitment event in Scotland.
