We promote a culture of information security through education, awareness, and training.

Information security is everyone's responsibility, and all members of the University community play an important role in protecting information and systems. Staff, students, contractors, and other users are expected to understand and fulfil their information security responsibilities.

The University provides information security awareness, education, and training to help users recognise cyber security risks, adopt secure working practices, and respond appropriately to security incidents. Through ongoing learning and awareness activities, we aim to strengthen the University's cyber resilience and support the secure handling of information across all areas of the University.

 

Complete your cyber security training

The University’s online cyber security training highlights current threats and provides practical guidance on how to stay safe online. The module has been developed specifically for Higher Education.

All staff and students are expected to complete the training.

It should take no longer than an hour to complete and can be undertaken in short sections. Access the course using the links below:
