Joshua Cooper, Hawai’i

Joshua Cooper is a lecturer at the University of Hawai’i and Dean of the Global Leadership Academy for Human Rights Advocacy. Cooper also heads Oceania Human Rights & Hawai’i Institute for Human Rights, as well as The GOOD Group.

Here is Joshua’s message to COP26: “No more empty promises and conferences.  We need exact policies and practices from our countries. We also demand Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) rooted in human rights for equality, equity and ecology.”
