Our aim is to coordinate, support, appraise and maintain the effectiveness of the organisation’s occupational health, safety and wellbeing management system. To acheive this aim, our team employs several experienced advisers, who are able to offer advice on a variety of topics.

Information relating to health and safety throughout the University can be found below;

  • Information: Following a recent event at another Scottish Univeristy, all departments are required to check if they have any of affected stock of material listed in this Safety Alert - HSAlert - Magnesium Hexahydrate 
  • Information:  Due to the recent incident at Grenfell Tower in London, all departments are required to check if they have the potentially affected model of fridge/freezer within their areas of responsibility. Information can be found on actions to be taken HSAlert - Hotpoint Fridge/Freezer
  • Information: Recent updates have been made the DSEAR regulations which has required an amendment be made to the University local rule on DSEAR. The update can be found in the document library under local rules - Document Library
