Deepen your interest in Physics, strengthen your academic skills and boost your employability with some of the following opportunities.
Enhancing your degree

International Placements
"Studying abroad is a fantastic opportunity to boost your career prospects, build international connections, make lifelong friends, and enjoy a unique and enriching experience. There are several ways to incorporate time abroad into your studies: you can take courses at one of our partner universities in place of your Strathclyde classes, undertake a research project, or combine both options. We will help you choose the path that best suits your goals. And do not worry about language—many opportunities are available in English-speaking environments, and you can even start learning a new language while you are abroad."

Summer Internships
“A great way to gain experience is through a summer internship either within the department or a local industry. And, the department can even give you credit for doing them. We advertise summer placements throughout the year – watch out for emails and monitor the MyPlace page for updates."
