We recognise that many PhD students go on to become teaching professionals or return to take up teaching roles within their own university. SIPBS now offers a PhD with an additional teaching qualification. This is supported through our teaching and learning unit (OSDU) and your PhD supervisor will act as your teaching development mentor. You will be an expert in your PhD field but will also have the skills to teach students via delivery of lectures, tutorials and workshops. You will also gain experience of assessment.
