Equality & Diversity Policies

These policies provide a framework for the institution. However, with the introduction of national legislation in the form of the Equality Act 2010 Summary, the University has developed Strathclyde Equality Outcomes 2017-2021

The Equality and Human Rights Commission has produced guidance on what equality law means for you as a studentThis explains equality rights for students in higher education. All higher education institutions have legal obligations placed by the Equality Act 2010 prohibiting discrimination, harassment or victimisation against students.
