Litter picking
Jack (University staff member) on Lunchtime Litter Picks :

The litter pick was a great excuse to get away from my desk over lunch and get some steps in, it was also a really nice opportunity to have a chat with colleagues out with the office environment. It was rewarding knowing that I was making a small contribution to making campus and the surrounding area ever so slightly tidier and I ended up getting a bit carried away and had to drag myself back to my desk in time for afternoon meetings. I’ll definitely be back next week

Hello March

Social Dog Walks

Strathclyde Sport's ExHALE programme has now organised two social dog walks aiming to encourage members of the University community to get outside and complete a lunchtime walk (with or without a dog!). You can use this opportunity to catch up with colleagues or study mates, meet new people, and most importantly get outside and active. There will be Strathclyde Sport members of staff and plenty of 4-legged friends who will be excited to meet you. Whether you'd like the excuse to get the steps in or just have a cuddle with a friendly dug, this is the event for you. Meeting point and times :

*If our chosen location isn't your preferred park then please feel free to arrange a local walk with colleagues/course mates, friends, or family. Please read the following safety tips before you set off. Any participation in the event is at your own risk.
