Centre for Lifelong LearningAge-Friendly Academy Impact Report Launch

In order to celebrate the achievements of the Age-Friendly Academy (AFA) since its launch in 2017, The Centre for Lifelong Learning have recently released an Age-Friendly Academy Impact Report.

Over the past four years, the AFA has brought together and showcased activities already being delivered at the University, as well as developing new opportunities for collaboration, both internally and externally. This has all been aimed at promoting positive ageing across the lifespan, breaking down barriers and changing perceptions of what a university is and who it is for. The AFA sends a clear message that Strathclyde offers something for everyone regardless of age or stage in life.

The report gives overview of achievements from the launch of the AFA until now, including the measures it has taken to adapt its work in response to COVID-19 and its hopes for life post-COVID.
