Learn 50 + at CLL - more than just classes
Get ready to plan your next learning adventure! We're delighted to let you know that classes are now available to book for Autumn 2026.
This term's programme offers something for every interest, from thought-provoking law and psychology courses to a wide selection of history, languages, creative arts, creative writing, photography, guitar, genealogy, storytelling, singing, and more. You can also focus on your wellbeing with yoga and mindfulness. We also offer a limited number of online classes delivered through Microsoft Teams, providing greater flexibility for those who prefer to learn from home or are unable to attend in person.
Online, Anytime at CLL
Study whenever and wherever suits you with our flexible online classes, delivered through Myplace, the University’s easy-to-use virtual learning environment. Access course materials, connect with tutors, and engage with fellow students, all from home and at your own pace.
Open Campus
You can also take advantage of our popular Open Campus programme, which gives CLL students the opportunity to sit alongside undergraduate students in selected undergraduate university classes. Open Campus subjects include Law and Social Policy, with History, English & Creative Writing joining the programme for 2026/27, offering even more ways to experience university learning.
Satellite CLL
This autumn, the Centre for Lifelong Learning is bringing a new programme of engaging adult learning classes to local communities at Thomas Graham Community Library (Strathblane), Carnegie Library (Ayr), and Springfield Cambridge Community Church (Bishopbriggs).
Building on the success of our growing Satellite CLL programme, these accessible local venues offer the opportunity to learn new skills, explore fascinating subjects, and connect with fellow learners closer to home. Browse the upcoming classes and book your place online through MyCLL.
