The Centre for Lifelong Learning (CLL) has been offering classes to adults for almost 40 years and prides itself on providing learning which meets the needs of its diverse student community. Over the last year we have reinvented our public programmes and are proud that we have managed to create a meaningful online learning experience for students.  We have delivered over 300 live and online classes with student registrations totalling over 4000.

We are proud to be the only UK University offering online learning specifically aimed at those aged 50+ - something which complements our longstanding face to face programme and in step with the University's wider age-friendly status.

At this unprecedented time, we are committed to keeping our students engaged with their learning and each other. All teaching remains online until such time as social distancing permits us to return to CLL. No classes will be held in CLL before October 2021.

You do not need much in the way of IT skills to take part in our, live online classes and we will help with getting you up to speed with Zoom – the platform we are using for live class teaching.

As ever, classes are led by experienced subject experts and adult educators, we’ve even managed to maintain an impressive array of subjects.

Check out the programmes below to find something to suit you regardless of age or stage in life.
