Incoming Research/Projects

Thank you for thinking of Strathclyde to volunteer your time with one of our departments through the Incoming Research/Projects route.

The steps you should follow in the hope of securing a suitable research opportunity:

  • Find a supervisor in your preferred research group (you can search from our faculties listed below with departments)
  • Send them a request by email including your CV (curriculum vitae), ToR (transcript of records) and LoM (letter of motivation).
  • Await a response form Strathclyde (this may take a number of weeks depending on the time of year)
  • If you receive a positive response then you need to have a letter signed by your home University and your Strathclyde supervisor, a blank template is available within useful links on this web page
  • Once you have this letter signed then you can apply, send us an e-mail along with your signed letter to incoming.exchanges@strath.ac.uk
