We're supporting undergraduate students from across the world as they begin their studies here at the University of Strathclyde through a range of scholarships.
These scholarships apply to each year of undergraduate study, and below is a selection of scholarships for undergraduate degree programmes for:
- International students
- EU students
- Students from England, Wales, and Northern Ireland

Faculty of Engineering
You'll receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 15% reduction of your fees for each year of study, which is typically £4,650 for the first year.
This scholarship will be awarded automatically, and no application is necessary.
Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences
The Deans Excellence scholarships is worth £5,000 per year of study.
This scholarship will be awarded automatically, and no application is necessary.
Faculty of Science
This scholarship is worth between £6,000 and £7,000 per year of study.
It's available to new international students who can demonstrate academic excellence.
Department of Physics
This scholarship is worth £7,000 per year of study for new international students joining an undergraduate degree in the Department of Physics.
This scholarship will be awarded automatically, and no application is necessary.
Strathclyde Business School
This scholarship is worth a 25% tuition fee reduction per year of study for new international students joining an undergraduate degree at Strathclyde Business School. This scholarship will be award automatically, and no application is necessary.
EU Engagement Scholarships
Scholarships of £5,000 to £8,000 are available to EU applicants beginning full-time, on-campus undergraduate taught courses.
Strathclyde Excellence Scholarship
We have a number of scholarship awards of up to £1,000 for students demonstrating academic excellence. The scholarships will be awarded on merit, rather than financial need, to candidates who demonstrate in their UCAS application, potential to succeed in their chosen programme.
