Strathclyde has risen five places to joint 30th in the UK in the latest Complete University Guide 2022 league tables and is number one in four subject areas.
Amongst Scottish institutions, Strathclyde places in sixth position, an increase of one place, and is ranked top in Accounting & Finance (up 1 place), Forensic Science & Speech & Language therapy.
Subjects which have seen a big jump up the table include: Social Work (up 13 places to 2nd), English (up 28 places to 5th), Sports Science (up 31 places to 7th), French (up 18 places to 13th), Physics & Astronomy (up 11 places to 20th).
Other Top 5 subjects include: Communications and Media (2, )Medical Technology & Bioengineering (2), Pharmacology & Pharmacy (2), Social Policy (3), Marketing (3), Chemical Engineering (5), and Electrical & Electronic Engineering (5).
