Strathclyde spinout company secured funding with Sky Ocean Ventures and Scottish Investment Bank

CuanTec, the blue biotech company spun out from University of Strathclyde, have completed an investment round with Sky Ocean Ventures and Scottish Enterprise that will enable them to process at pilot production scale and finalise their formulations.

Loch Electronics Pitched in Finals of KIC Climate Launchpad

SEN Client Loch Electronics has made it to the finals of the Climate Launchpad Pitch, in the Theme Awards section of Green City! This competition is the world's largest cleantech competition. The final pitches are now published on Youtube.

Strathclyde Represented at Made in Scotland Awards

Two SEN-supported companies won at the 2019 Made in Scotland Awards. Yanik Nyberg (Seawater Solutions) won Young Innovator of the Year and The Start-Up Drinks Lab took home the Food and Drink Company of the Year award. 

Strathclyde Start-Ups Shortlisted for Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Awards

Strathclyde graduates and SEN-supported companies Seawater Solutions (pictured) and WashR have both been shortlisted for the 2019 Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Awards semi-final. The companies will be pitching at the semi-final event at the University of York at the end of June.
