Sustainable StrathclydeStudent projects

Student projects

Each year, there are opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students with interest in sustainability to work with us in order to gain course credits, complete dissertation research and gain professional work experience. We're always delighted to welcome a cohort of students to work with us as part of their course. We work with all faculties and departments and no idea is too big or small to pitch to us. If you'd like to enquire about opportunities for working with us (as part of your course or otherwise), please get in touch.

Dissertations

Sustainability-focused student dissertations are not only a great way to gain insight to the growing fields of climate change mitigation and adaptation, but they also have a huge potential to create positive impact in the University as well as wider society. At Sustainable Strathclyde we have a diverse range of climate data relating to the University and several different projects students can get involved in for research. If you have a dissertation as part of your course, we'd be thrilled to hear from you to see how we collaborate through your research and help deliver impact through your final thesis.

Management Development Programme

Each year, through working with the Widening Access Team and Strathclyde Business School we welcome a cohort of students from the Management Development Programme (MDP). This work changes with each yearly cohort but regularly involved managing the Sustainable Strathclyde Society, marketing the “Jump Programme” to students, creating social media content for student audiences and completing data analysis projects with the Sustainable Strathclyde team.
