Many are now realising the seriousness of climate change, of which one impact is unprecedented pressure on water resources. In developing countries, cross-border cooperation on transboundary aquifiers – bodies of groundwater that extend across more than one country – is becoming increasingly crucial. As part of the Water Futures Programme – a collaboration between companies, government agencies and NGOs – we aim to assist countries to manage and protect their groundwater resources for a sustainable future.
