This research explores the impact of social and political pressure on women and girls in Scotland through the lens of menstruation. Findings highlight that pressure to lessen environmental harm through reusable menstrual products compounds structural inequalities, such as gender, class, and disability. Creating exclusions in place of environmental collectives due to the cost, availability, and accessibility of these products. An inclusive approach is paramount to preserving our environment.
