Saltmarsh regeneration and coastal erosion management are crucial for maintaining biodiversity and protecting shorelines. In collaboration with Siskin Asset Management Limited, our research developed an interactive, bio-sensitive visualisation system which captures and communicates remote sensing data on the performance of coastal defence structures. The system uses mixed-reality, blending physical, terrain models and 3D scans and augmented reality applications to dynamically monitor the installations' ecosystem bio-markers, functionality and impact.
