Our children face real-world harm due to weak online age verification, poor online safety, and a lack of urgency in implementing safeguards. Many platforms selling weapons, alcohol, tobacco, or adult content rely on ineffective checks, making access easy for minors. My research focuses on developing a privacy-preserving, effective age verification system to protect children online while balancing security and user privacy.
