Generative AI, like ChatGPT, has the potential to improve the quality of life and care for people with dementia by providing connectivity, companionship, guidance, and task support. Our research gathers opinions from the public and people with dementia to identify potential applications, benefits, and barriers to inform future developments and encourage community-driven technology.
