Communication barriers and building trust are common challenges when collecting data from young people using traditional methods.
To ensure all voices are heard, we use art as a medium for early teens to communicate their challenges with water and sanitation facilities at their schools in Malawi. Enabling young people to express themselves allows us to understand the issues that really affect them and co-design solutions.
