Q&A
Q: What has been your biggest achievement so far?
A: Our work on improving the PGR representation system has been huge. Right now, it’s not as clearly defined as the systems for undergraduate or postgraduate taught students. We’re working closely with the Student Union and the Doctoral School to change that.
I’ve also contributed to discussions shaping the Doctoral School’s strategy for the next five years, which has been both exciting and a bit surreal.
Q: What advice would you give to a Strathclyde student with a goal or ambition, but who doesn’t know where to start?
A: Just start – but also take the time to make sure it’s the right project for you. Make sure you can balance it with your studies and other responsibilities. You don’t need to do everything at once, but taking that first step is the key.
