Scotland's Budget Report
This report is the Fraser of Allander Institute's annual analysis of the Scottish Budget and is the pre-eminent independent briefing on the key issues facing Scotland's devolved public finances. It provides an overview of the state of the economy, the outlook for Scotland's block grant and tax revenues, and the policy options open to the Cabinet Secretary for Finance as the Scottish Government prepares to set its budget each year.
Latest Scotland's Budget Report
The Scottish labour market has held up relatively well – despite challenging economic conditions, according to a report launched by Scotland's leading independent economic research institute (Friday 16 February).
However, employment is still down – with around half of local authority areas still trying to make up the jobs lost since the beginning of the financial crisis.
