Design, Manufacturing & Engineering ManagementJaslin Bhangoo: what I do in my spare time

Hello again!

Being a student in the Department of Design, Manufacture & Engineering Management at Strathclyde doesn’t just mean studying, it also allows me to have a lot of fun in my spare time.

I’m always looking forward to finding new things to do here in Glasgow!

Museums and galleries are amazing

I like to go for a walk through the city at least a few times a week and enjoy what it has to offer. The museums and galleries here are amazing! I’m always intrigued by the new exhibitions that are on display. My all-time favourite museum here would have to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum located in the West End of the city - it’s definitely a must see and taking a walk in Kelvingrove Park is always refreshing!

Hopping on the train

I also really enjoy hopping on the train when I get the chance and travelling locally or sometimes even a bit further in Scotland! Edinburgh always makes for a fun day trip! If you’re into nature and exploring different landscapes then you should definitely check out Loch Lomond, which is only about an hour away on the train! Take a look at the picture I took when I was there a few months ago!

You'll have a great time!

You’ll always find something to do in your spare time, even if that means going for a walk and relaxing at a cafe with some friends or hitting the campus gym! You’ll have a great time!
