Our award-winning department is recognised internationally for delivering education and producing research which meets the needs of a global sector. This is reflected through our global partnerships, international staff and student community.
We have received student applications across the globe from over 125 countries to study within DMEM. Each year, we welcome over 70 students and researchers to the department from countries such as:

Not only do we welcome students from across the world to Glasgow, but our home students have the opportunity to take part in some fantastic exchanges and visits to our partner institutions abroad.

Each year, we welcome international students from over 20 countries to join our vibrant international community.

There are several ways in which such partnerships can be formed:
- setting up a joint educational partnership (eg agreements on articulation, joint courses, student exchange)
