We’ve one of the most extensive scholarship programmes in the UK, providing financial support, work experience and industry networking opportunities to you while you study. If you fancy gaining international experience, then you can choose to study abroad for up to a year at one of our overseas partners. There are 32 partners to choose from, spanning North America & Canada, Singapore & Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand.

Undergraduate courses
We offer twelve BEng and MEng undergraduate courses which are all designed to produce world class engineers and technology specialists. These are enhanced with overseas study, scholarship and work experience opportunities.

Engineering academy
The Engineering Academy is a pioneering programme that offers you an alternative route into university and employment; the first year is an enhanced HNC programme with direct transfer into second year of one our engineering degrees.

Postgraduate taught courses
We offer eight specialist taught postgraduate degrees aligned with our key research strengths. These will equip you with the technical expertise and key project management, communication and leadership skills needed for today’s competitive job market.

Postgraduate research degrees
Exciting research opportunities exist within our two broad-based Institutes. Topics range from hyperspectral imaging, Lab–on-a-Chip , wireless sensor networks and non-destructive evaluation to smart grids and wind energy technologies.

Continuing professional development (CPD)
Our CPD courses are based on workforce training needs in the power and energy sectors. We run instructor led programmes, where you'll benefit from direct interaction with our instructors in a classroom environment, and online programmes which are available 24/7.
