The following information will assist you in connecting to the internet using EduRoam. It will also help you to access your email and install Office365 ProPlus to access Word and other office tools. You're permitted to install course-related software only.

Connect to Wi-Fi on campus
eduroam is the Wi-Fi network provided by the University for staff and students. It's available across campus. eduroam is the recommended Wi-Fi network for staff and students.
Your eduroam username
Your eduroam username is your DS username followed by @strath.ac.uk. For example, tst12111@strath.ac.uk.
You won't be able to connect to eduroam if you don't type @strath.ac.uk after your DS username when prompted to log in to EduRoam.

Office365
Log in to Office365
- Access your mailbox
- Log in using your Office365 UserID. This is your DS username followed by @uni.strath.ac.uk For example, tst12111@uni.strath.ac.uk
Office 365 ProPlus
Office365 ProPlus is a full version of Office. The programmes have the same features and functionality as other versions of Office. It includes:
- Word 2016
- Excel 2016
- PowerPoint 2016
- OneNote 2016
- Access 2016
- Publisher 2016
- Outlook 2016
- Skype for Business 2016
- OneDrive for Business 2016
Office365 ProPlus is a service now available to all registered undergraduate and postgraduate taught students who have an Office365 account. You can download Microsoft Office365 ProPlus, completely free of charge, through your Office365 account. This gives you access to the full Microsoft Office suite while you are a registered student with us.
You can install up to 5 of your personal devices. To ensure continuous validation, the device must connect to the internet at least once every 30 days to allow the Office365 ProPlus license to be checked by Microsoft's Activation and Validation Service.
