Introducing Teams Telephony

If you are a member of staff, it is possible to replace having a physical desk phone handset with Teams Telephony. Using Teams Telephony allows you to make and receive telephone calls from your work number using the Microsoft Teams client software on a PC, laptop (Windows or Mac) or even your mobile device using the Teams app, so your extension number follows you wherever you are working.

You must have your own individual extension number already provisioned and you must be a member of University staff. If you do not already have your own extension number, you will need to arrange this first (information on costs is provided by Estates here).

If you would like to request your extension number is moved to Teams Telephony, complete the request form on Fresh Service to begin the process.
