Keith Ridgway, exec chair of AFRC

The Top 100 aims to dispel the myths surrounding manufacturing and create a platform to champion and publicly identify dynamic leaders and innovators in the sector.  Individuals were nominated by readers of The Manufacturer, the wider industrial community and the public.  The final list was decided by an expert panel of judges, representing UK manufacturing, academia and the wider industrial community.

Commenting on his recent success, Keith said:

I am delighted to be featured in The Manufacturer Top 100. There are lots of inspirational stories of determination, passion and achievement from others who were nominated on the list.  These people are the driving force behind the country’s recent manufacturing revival.

I hope that I can help alter popular perceptions about manufacturing locally and nationally, inspire young people and help make conditions better for manufacturing in the UK.”
