The course will explore relevant sources of international law on human rights, the environment and the ocean, including gender issues related to marine biodiversity and plastic pollution. It will draw on the approach developed by Prof Morgera and colleagues under the One Ocean Hub to develop an e-learning courses on SDG 14 (Life Below Water) and on ocean plastics, which integrated international human rights law.
