Our research centres on twentieth- and twenty-first century movements including the resistance and terrorism and on the legacy of particular individuals.
We are also interested in the question of what rationality is and gaining a better understanding of the historical political implications of different kinds of reason. Our work often involves the analysis of cultural products, such as literature and film, from the point of view of their representation of memory, gender and identity.
