In SIPBS we are passionate about Science Outreach and Public Engagement. At the heart of our mission to deliver impactful and meaningful research is sharing our science with the local community as well as wider audiences. Using examples from our own research and teaching activities, our public engagement programme aims to embody the University of Strathclyde ethos as ‘a place of useful learning’. This engagement can take various forms, including on-site school visits, practical lab sessions, SIPBS Open Doors Day and participation in external Science Festivals and Fairs.
