Centre for Lifelong Learning Learn at CLL
We believe Lifelong Learning should be available to everyone – a commitment that reflects the ethos of our founder, Professor John Anderson, who left instructions more than 200 years ago for a ‘place of useful learning’ for all. Here at the Centre for Lifelong Learning, we are pleased to offer a range of on-campus and ‘live’ online classes as well as the renown Learn 50+ programme which offers learning aimed at those aged over 50.

Learn 50+ at CLL
Learn 50+ at CLL is our exciting offering of both on-campus and online (via Zoom) classes aimed at those aged 50+. These classes are as much about social interaction as they are about the topic being studied and this is put at the heart of the student experience. Classes whether on-campus or online take place on specific days and times each week.

Online Anytime at CLL
Online Anytime at CLL provides you with further flexibility, allowing you to study with us, from the comfort of your own home, at a time that suits you. Find out more about our range of classes available.

3Ls Students' Association
Our students love the social aspect of the CLL community, learning and spending time with like-minded people. The Learning in Later Life Students’ Association (3Ls) is unique in the UK and very popular with our students, involving informal learning with an extra social dimension.
