Please refer to your visa application or UKVI decision letter to confirm the location you have selected to collect your BRP form.
Important information: You must check your BRP card carefully, if you notice an error, you must report this error to UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) within 10 days of collecting your BRP card.
Post Office collection
Once you have collected your BRP, you must upload a copy of your BRP and stamped entry clearance vignette to Registration Documents on Pegasus, this can be accessed under your Personal tab. For more information, please visit the University Registration webpage.
Alternatively, you can send a copy by email to the Visa Compliance Team and your details will be updated.
University collection
University of Strathclyde (ACL Code: 2HE582)
Once your BRP card arrives at the University, we will send BRP collection information to your University email account.
BRP collection is from the Learning & Teaching building.
Dependent BRP Collection
Once your dependent(s) arrive in Glasgow, please email the Visa Compliance Team to arrange collection of their BRP card.
If your BRP has an expiry date of 31 December 2024
The Home Office is changing how visa holders prove their immigration status in the UK, BRP cards are being replaced with an online record of your immigration status known as an 'eVisa'.
You will be able to prove your immigration status online from 1 January 2025, without a BRP. Further information can be found on the GOV.UK webpage.
You must create a UKVI account and get access to your eVisa before the expiry of your BRP. You should continue to carry your BRP with you when you travel outside the UK until it expires.
