At Strathclyde, our Careers Service is here to support you from day one of your studies until five years after you graduate.

Below, one of our Careers Consultants shares some top tips on why it's important to use the Careers Service as a new student.

Log on to MyCareerhub. Here you will see the opportunities open to first-year undergraduate to postgraduate students. Strath Union Opportunities advertise part-time jobs in Glasgow and volunteering opportunities. Check out our work experience and job search resources.

We help you make career choices

Employers recruit from all degree disciplines. Your degree is a passport to a variety of different careers. The Choosing your Career section of our website is a useful starting point.

We run events

We support students will all aspects of the recruitment process. This includes including writing Curriculum Vitae (CVs) and completing applications. As well as being successful in assessment centres and interviews.
