    Ask the Experts: Developing a FinTech business

    This Ask the Experts session will be hosted by Nick Cousins. With over 20 years of experience across the financial and service sector, of which 9 years was at senior level with Barclays bank. If you are looking at ways to access large corporations or may be seeking investment in the future in the FinTech industry, Nick has a wealth of expertise to provide advice. This is not a pitching opportunity, but an opportunity for founders to explain your company proposition, long term vision and gain advice on the challenges you may face, when you come to seeking investment or trying to break into large corporations. Each 1-2-1 session will be 30 minutes, with an example format of 5 mins introduction on your business, 5-10 mins on your proposition/vision and challenges, 10-15 mins discussion/feedback on challenges.

    Ask the Experts: What is intellectual property?

    Every company has intellectual property (IP). However, which forms offer the best commercial advantage for the business? These 1-2-1 drop-in sessions will equip you with the knowledge of different types of IP and a look at why you should (or shouldn't) protect it. These 1-2-1 appointments will be 30 minutes each and are limited in availability, so please ensure you book your space soon!
