Testimonials

"The course was life-changing. The quality of the lecturers and the cohort was excellent. I also really valued the opportunity to speak to other women in business."

"This was the best learning experience I’ve had. Highly recommended."

"Discovering new, creative and challenging techniques, tools, inspiring case studies and best practice through the programme is one thing, but discovering yourself has taken the gift of this programme to a whole new level."

"Whilst there are other forms of executive education available out there, no other option I have experienced so far has delivered the same impact to my business as GAP. A key differentiator is sustainability. By delivering the inputs over a nine month period, the Hunter Centre has facilitated 'bite sized' learning and an element of peer support/pressure that ensures that the cohort are able to apply the learning in their businesses immediately and feedback on progress to the group at the next session. Where problems are encountered, they are shared and worked through as a group."

Several GAP participants have blogged about their experience – Scott Brewster of Brewster Brothers, Claire Kinloch of Genoa Black, Alistair Cameron of ScotmasRyan Longmuir of Regis Banqueting and Billy Lyle of Redspire; Nathalie Agnew of Muckle MediaWendy Pring and Gillian Crawford of Lily Blanche, highlighting GAP and the catalyst it was for further practical learning!

– whilst others have gone on camera to talk about their experience:

This really does work.

Scott Brewster

Managing Director, Brewster Brothers

When John Anderson phoned me last year about joining cohort 6 of Strathclyde Business School's Growth Advantage Programme, I must admit I was a little skeptical as it wasn't as economical as Help to Grow: Management at Strathclyde Business School, which I had originally enquired about!

However, the investment was worth every penny and I got to make some great new connections and pals along the way. If you are looking to grow your business, develop tools to enable you to do so, and experience powerful peer-to-peer learning, then I highly recommend you consider applying to join cohort 7 this Autumn.

Thanks to John, Professor Eleanor Shaw OBE, Marisa Smith and Jacqueline Thomson for their slick delivery, to Stephen Robertson, Aileen Boyle, George Stubbs and James England for their expert insight, but most of all to my fellow 'GAPees' for their trust, support, and honesty.
