We offer three types of architectural programmes.
Undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
Our four-year BSc Honours degree in Architectural Studies takes you towards a career as a professional architect, a career in the creative or construction industries, or onwards to research.
The title “architect” is protected by law and can only be used by those registered with the Architects Registration Board (ARB). Our courses are professionally accredited by the ARB and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). Find out more about the route to professional accreditation.
- Our BSc in Architectural Studies Honours and Pass degrees give exemption from ARB/RIBA Part 1 professional examinations
- The PgDip in Advanced Architectural Design gives exemption from ARB/RIBA Part 2
- The Master's route to ARB/RIBA Part 2 for UK or European students is the MArch in Advanced Architectural Design
- The Master's route for International students seeking RIBA Part 2 exemption is the MArch in Architectural Design (International)
