Naval Architecture, Ocean & Marine EngineeringUndergraduate Double Degree Programme in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering with Istanbul Technical University

The University of Strathclyde’s Naval Architecture, Ocean and Marine Engineering (NAOME) Department has established a double degree programme in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering with Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Turkey. Each of these supervisors will take equal responsibility for project supervision and assessment.

If you would like more information, please contact Strathclyde from or Dr Mustafa Erden Yildizdag ( from ITU.

Cost of Living:

Preparing your budget for the duration of your studies is probably the most important thing you can do before leaving home. The University has created a webpage for international students with guidance on the cost of living. We suggest you please check this website before you prepare your budget. The Student budget calculator is a great tool for helping international students plan and manage their money for studying in the UK. The budget calculator shows you average monthly living costs for students at Strathclyde. You can also customise the expense items in the calculator based on your interests and outgoings to obtain a more realistic average monthly living cost for yourself.
