Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
The PGDE qualifies graduates to teach in primary and secondary education settings worldwide. It consists of 36 weeks - a mixture of teaching and school placements - after which eligible students can join the Teacher Induction Scheme and gain a guaranteed job for a year in a Scottish school.

Our students
Fees & funding
From 2023/24 academic year, SAAS are increasing the tuition fee loan from £5,500 to £7,000. Full-time students can also apply for a living cost loan of up to £4,500, making the total funding available £11,500.
EU residents applying to full-time, face-to-face postgraduate taught programmes may be eligible for an EU Engagement Scholarship worth £5,000.
Non-EU international residents applying to full-time, face-to-face postgraduate taught programmes may be eligible for a scholarship worth up to £5,000.
