Office365 ProPlus is a service that is now available to all students and staff. It's a suite of Microsoft Office applications that can be downloaded onto a variety of devices. It's completely free of charge, during the time that you are a student or member of staff with us.
Office365 ProPlus is a full version of Office. The programs have the same features and functionality as other versions of Office.
You can install it on up to 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets, and 5 smartphones. The device must connect to the internet at least once every 30 days. This allows the Office 365 ProPlus license to be checked by Microsoft's Activation and Validation Service.
What's included with Office365 ProPlus?
Office365 ProPlus for PC includes:
Word 2019, Excel 2019, PowerPoint 2019, Access 2019, Publisher 2019, Outlook 2019, Skype for Business 2019, OneDrive for Business 2019
Office365 ProPlus for Mac includes:
Word 2019, Excel 2019, PowerPoint 2019, Outlook 2019, Skype for Business 2019, OneDrive for Business 2019.
Mobile:
- Office Mobile for iPhone
- Office Mobile for Android
When you're no longer a student or member of staff at the University, the Office suite will enter a state of reduced functionality until you purchase a license from Microsoft. In this mode, current documents will still be available to view and print, but new documents cannot be created and existing documents can not be edited.
