Body composition lab
The body composition lab provide specialised sport and exercise science equipment for undergraduate teaching and research projects.
Equipment
The body composition Laboratory is equipped with:
- Harpenden Skinfold Calipers
- Omron Body Fat Monitors
- Bodystat Bioelectrical Impedance Units
- Portable Stadiometers
- Sartorious ISI 20 Large Balance and numerous other anthropometric assessment tools to carry out body composition analysis techniques
- a range of Motion Tests using equipment like sit and reach boxes
This laboratory also houses all our activity monitors including Actigraphs and ActivPALS used in research and for under graduate dissertations.
