Can you tell the story of your research in a single, striking image? The University of Strathclyde invites staff and PhD students to take part in Images of Research 2025, our annual competition celebrating the creativity and diversity of our research community.
This year’s theme, From Research to Reality, highlights the journey from discovery to real-world impact. We’re looking for images that illustrate how your research shapes lives, industries, and communities. Whether it’s a photograph, painting, diagram, or digital creation, your image should bring your research to life and connect with a wider audience.

Who can enter?
Entries are invited from
- PhD students currently enrolled at Strathclyde University.
- Research staff or teaching and research staff employed by the university.
- Technical, professional services, or support staff employed by the university.
You are welcome to submit multiple entries to showcase different projects.
