Educational programmes
Currently, the Department of Management Science co-ordinates a Risk, Reliability and Maintainability course.
The Risk Consortium will liaise with industry to identify the development needs of partners and where appropriate, develop risk-based modules aimed at supporting decision makers within organisations. Through the provision of tailored short courses, the Risk Consortium can help develop the skills and competences of your own staff in areas, amongst others, such as risk management, decision analysis, Bayesian statistics and statistical analysis & modelling.
The Risk Consortium will host seminars and workshops. The purpose of these seminars is to discuss current areas of technical interest and involve industry to help shape the future direction of the consortium. Workshops will also allow risk policy makers from different industries to come together to build contacts and share solutions.
