Your DS account gives you access to many University computer systems, including those that hold your personal information. Never share your password with anyone else. If you forget your password or think you've revealed it to someone else, you can change your password now.
Your DS username will be emailed to your personal email address before your first day at Strathclyde.
After you have registered, you can download the Mobile App and see your DS username in your student profile, which you access by selecting the person icon in the top right of the screen.
Please don’t confuse your DS username and your Student Registration number – Your DS username is your IT account that you need to access some of the university services. Your registration number is your personal unique reference number for your studies at Strathclyde that all of your academic history is recorded against. You should normally quote your student registration number when contacting the University. Note: your DS username is different to your student registration number. You will find your student registration number on the student card, and your DS username in your student profile in the mobile app.
We will send your DS account details to your personal email address before your first day at Strathclyde. If you have not received this email, please come to the Information Services enquiries desk on Level 3 of the Library. Our staff will help you.
Our email will explain how to change your password to something that you can remember more easily. Visit our Cyber Security pages to find out how to create a strong password.
