January 2026
£5,000 to £8,000
Scholarships of £5,000 to £8,000 will automatically apply to eligible international applicants beginning postgraduate taught courses in January 2026.
September 2026
£6,000 to £9,000
Scholarships of £6,000 to £9,000 will automatically apply to eligible international applicants beginning postgraduate taught courses in 2026/27.

Faculty of Engineering: Dean’s International Excellence Awards
A scholarship award of £7,000 to £10,000 for students demonstrating academic excellence.
Faculty of Science: International Excellence Awards
A scholarship award of £7,000 for students demonstrating academic excellence.
Faculty of Science: International Scholarship for MRes Physics
Scholarships of £7,000 are available to new international students joining the MRes Physics programme.
Strathclyde Business School: Masters Scholarships for International Students
A scholarship award of £9,000 to £12,000 for international students.
September 2026/27
Engineering: Dean’s International Excellence Award
£9,000 to £12,000 for students demonstrating academic excellence.
Humanities & Social Sciences: Dean’s International Excellence Scholarship
£10,000 for students demonstrating academic excellence
Science: International Excellence Scholarship
£7,000 to £8,000 for students
Strathclyde Business School: Dean’s Excellence Award
£10,000 - £12,000 for students demonstrating academic excellence

Masters Scholarships for Scottish/UK students
A scholarship award of £5,000 to £7,000 offered to all eligible Scottish and UK offer-holders for January 2026 courses.
EU Engagement Scholarships
EU Engagement Scholarships of £5,000 to £10,000 are available to EU applicants beginning full-time, on-campus postgraduate taught courses.
Alumni Scholarships
All Strathclyde graduates are eligible for a 15% tuition fee discount on postgraduate taught courses beginning in January 2026. This includes those who have studied at Strathclyde on an exchange or study abroad programme.
Faculty of Science online scholarships
Scholarships of £1,800 are available to new students beginning one of the Faculty’s online programmes in January 2026.
