StrathlifeBefore you arrive

We’re really looking forward to welcoming you as a student to the University of Strathclyde. There’s just a few things you need to do to register as a student before you arrive.

Registration

You must register online in order to confirm your personal, financial and academic details. We need you to register before the start of your programme as this lets us know you’re definitely taking up your place at the University of Strathclyde.

You’ll receive an email letting you know when the registration link is available to PEGASUS (your student record).   Current registration arrangements can be found on our dedicated registration pages.

If you experience any difficulties with the process please contact registration@strath.ac.uk.

Get accommodation

If you’re going to be living away from home then we recommend that you secure accommodation as soon as your place has been confirmed.

Find out more on our accommodation pages.

Your University account

You'll be sent a DS (University) account username in the registration emails from the Admissions team. We'll start sending these emails towards the end of July through to September depending on what stage your application is at.

If you haven’t or can’t remember your password, you can reset your password.

Email

As a new student at the University of Strathclyde, you’ll be given a unique university email address which will stay with you throughout the length of your programme of study. This is the email address that the University will use to communicate with you on all matters relating to your studies. We strongly recommend that you regularly log into this account.

Between now and the start of term it’s important that you continue to regularly check your personal email address as the University may email important information to you.

If you’re arriving in Glasgow outside of the main September and January arrivals there will not be Ambassadors to assist you.

I'm a new International student - how do I register for my course?

Ensure your tuition fees have been paid

Before you complete registration you must ensure that arrangements have been made to pay your tuition fees. The best way to do this is to pay your fees online.
