Information
To apply for an incoming Research/Project opportunity then please complete the enquiry form above.
Please have a look through the departments below.
Below 6 months: You can undertake a period or research/project within a department for a maximum of 6 months as long as this is unpaid.
If you are coming for longer than 6 months or a due to be paid any monies then you would need to be recorded through our HR department.
We do not provide any liability coverage. We would advise you to look into this before you come to Strathclyde.
We will send your details to the departments and they will look into the availability of the application. As this is down to the discretion of each department then we are not able to guarantee a place.
The on-campus accommodation is limited and is usually for term-time students. If you are successful in your application then you can reach out to them to see if they have any vacancies within the occupied flats: https://www.strath.ac.uk/studywithus/accommodation/ (this is down to their discretion)
Our Students Union has created the helpful House hunting starter guide which is a great resource for finding private accommodation.
Normally we accept European students as their is normally not an issue with a visa. If you are not part of Europe then please e-mail us: victoria.mcmillan
