The Education Strategy Committee is strategic in outlook, providing a forum to facilitate and encourage the development of academic strategy and discuss and promote academic developments, whether internally driven or externally.

It has the primary responsibility and accountability for Education to the University Senate, Court and the Executive Team. Its key responsibilities are:

  • Reviewing and updating the Education Strategy
  • Setting priorities for deliverables within Education Strategy for the year
  • Reviewing and responding appropriately to external initiatives and developments
  • Overall responsibility for delivery of the strategy through the other committees / groups
  • Developing and supporting our staff and students
  • Approval and endorsement of education policies
